The French Institute of BioInformatics (IFB) is the national bioinformatic infrastructure created in the context of the French government initiative Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir (PIA). It aims to mutualize, support and coordinate the bioinformatics resources and development activities for various research fields depending on public funds (CNRS, INRA, INRIA, CEA and INSERM but also universities, the CIRAD, and the Pasteur et Curie institutes).
