Description The Sea and Diving Service can work independently to harvest marine fauna and flora for research and teaching purposes as a result of its knowledge of the field, habitats and fishing methods and of the varied methods available to it (gathering shellfish on the shore, by hand diving or by boat). It is legally authorised to harvest the smallest possible quantities in order to preserve the resource. Where feasible, the resource harvested can be provided on-site (see collection service) or delivered (see delivery service).

Description The 3-person scientific dive team can operate independently or can assist researchers, particularly to harvest biological material, implement sampling protocols, conduct underwater experiments, maintain underwater devices, take pictures or videos, etc. It can also organise some or all of the logistical and technical aspects of operations, supervise the safety of these missions and provide technical assistance in the field. It can also offer expertise upstream (choice of study sites, technical development of protocols and necessary equipment, etc.).

Description Image acquisition and retouching. Images produced in the field (on land or underwater) or in the studio. Among other features, a copy stand enables super-macro images (x5 magnification) to be produced. Trained in 3D photography techniques, we can also provide visuals using photogrammetry software.
