Marine Biotechnology and Chemistry Laboratory (LBCM)

The research program studies biofilms mainly in the marine environment and the development of biotechnology by combining complementary expertise in Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Algology, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Synthesis and Physical Chemistry. The laboratory activities are organised in two areas of research:
- The Biofilm and the Microbiota
- The Marine Biotechnology (development of marine resources, especially seaweeds, the search of anti-biofilm natural compounds, bioremediation?).
The laboratory also benefits from ecotoxicological and proteome analysis platforms.
