ENIB - ECOLE NATIONALE D'INGENIEURS DE BREST

ENIB was established in 1961 and is a public-sector institution overseen by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Jacques Tisseau has been its Director since 2008. ENIB is part of the Technopôle Brest-Iroise cluster, which houses research laboratories and high-tech companies.
As one of the highly selective French Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs, ENIB offers an all-round engineering education for professionals in electronics, computer science and mechatronics. ENIB is accredited by the French National Commission for Engineering Degrees (CTI), and has been awarded the EUR-ACE European quality label for engineering degree programmes.
As a member of the European University of Brittany (UEB) and the ?images & réseaux' and ?Mer Bretagne' clusters, ENIB has two laboratories where it conducts research activity focusing on virtual reality, optical telecommunications and adaptive materials and systems.
ENIB is also a member of Campus France and of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
